Sue first got into the Salsa groove about 18 years ago and went on to teach with Andre & Charifi at Manchester's
Copacabana Nightclub. Sue is a qualified UKA Salsa Dance Instructor who runs her own classes in the Warrington
& Wigan areas where she hosts regular Salsa Party Nights and delivers workshops for students, organisations and
schools. Sue has visited Cuba on numerous occassions to develop her knowledge of Salsa, Son & Rumba.
Leandro Charanga was immediately crowned the Reggaeton King on his arrival in the UK and is one of the most
charismatic performers around today. Leandro's style is unique and wildly entertaining. His fusion of raw energy
from the back streets of Havana and classical ballet education could only happen in Cuba. His dance is edgy and
athletic and at the same time full of grace and fun. Leandro has taught and performed in all of the Cuban dance
forms ; Salsa, Son, Cha Cha, Rumba, Afro and of course Reggaeton. Leandro's warmth and enthusiasm for dance
fills any room.
DJ Hot Pepper is Salsa...feel the heat's resident DJ as well as being one of the North West's best World Music &
Salsa DJ's and is a regular DJ / Compere at many of Manchester's major festivals. Hot Pepper has showcased his
skills at Pontins Salsa Events and has hosted his own Radio Show Tropical Hits on several Radio stations over the
past 4 years.
Idalberto Alcala is a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer and musician from Havana, Cuba. A master of
Rumba, Cha Cha Cha and Afro Cuban Percussion with an unsurpassed education and training in dance. Idalberto
has a prominent portfolio of International projects and work experience which makes him a much sought after
Cuban Artist.
Juan Munoz is a qualified dance instructor and choreographer, borm in Havana, Cuba. Juan started training and
learning dance in Cuba as a 15 year old and studied at the University of Havana for 11 years. A graduate of dance,
specialising in Afro Cuban dance Rumba and Yoruba, Salsa, Son, Mambo and Cha Cha Cha.
Susan Milner started dancing as a 9 year old and has gained all IDTA certificates in Latin American and Ballroom
dance. She has given performances in Salsa and arranges dance workshops and events.
Natalie Ward has a history of Street Dance and Hip Hop, having starred in music videos. Natalie turned her focus
to the Latin scene and hasn't looked back since. Natalie is also known as La Chica Del Reggaeton and has guest
taught for many dance organisations.
Mauricio Reyes originally from Latin America, but now based in Birmingham, is the founder of Latin Motion. As a
dedicated Salsa DJ, Dance Instructor and Promotor for well over a decade, Mauricio's work within the UK salsa
scene has been extensive. As a DJ he is guaranteed to read the crowd, spinning a broad range of top Salsa tunes.
Sarah Alcala  is a professionally trained Cuban dancer and performer having been trained by one the worlds elite
professional Cuban Dance Instructors in Mambo, Salsa, Rumba, Cha Cha, Son, Danzon & Cuban Body
movement. Sarah teaches alongside Idalberto focusing on technique and ladies styling.
Farah Portela is the Director of Tumbao, which is the premier school for Cuban Salsa in Scotland. Farah, who was
born in Havana, Cuba is a Rueda De Casino Master and was the first person to teach Cuban Salsa and La Rueda
in Scotland.
Ulises Carrillo is one of the brightest and youngest up and coming stars on the Cuban Salsa scene today and is
equally at home teaching Salsa, Rumba and La Rueda.
DJ Javier La Rosa a winner of the Most Popular Cuban DJ award is one of the most exciting latin DJ's on the
scene today. Javier came from Havana, Cuba and has been DJing since his arrival in 2004, playing Salsa and
Timba Cubana, Reggaeton, Latin Hip Hop and R n B to suit any occasion.
Chris Traynor runs his own Salsa School in Glasgow and has taught throughout the Uk. Chris left audiences
riveted after making it to the London auditions of the BBC 1 Hit Show Strictly Dance Fever. Chris was described
as a "phenomenon" by judges Arlene Phillips and Wayne Sleep thanks to his sexy style of Cuban street dance.
Ze Braga was born in Brazil but now lives in Italy. At an early age he began to study Brazilian Folklore Dances and
Capoiera and has performed with some of the most prestigeous Brazilian Dance Companies. Ze is a talented dance
and acrobat, his unique style is characterised with amazing jumps and quick pasitos. Ze was the first artiste to bring
Brazilian Style to Cuban Salsa realizing Brasil Cubano style.
ILaria was born and still lives in Italy and following her passion for Cuban Salsa studied at the Conjuncto
Folklorico Nacional De Cuba. ILaria is a Dance Teacher of Ballet, Cuban Salsa and Ladies Styling. She has talent
and energy and her unique style is characterised by her elegance and fantastic choreographies.
Tevin "aka" Prince has been dancing since a young age. Addicted to Dance, Salsa and Kizomba have quickly
become part of his everyday life. Dancing for him, is much more than just a few steps, its a way of celebrating life,
a passion he is willing to share with as many people as he can. He is known for his unique style, technical but at
the same time, smooth and gentle.
Born in Havana, Rafael is widely regarded as the very best proponent of authentic Cuban Salsa, Mambo and
Rumba dance styles. Winner of the best Male Cuban Salsa Performer Award and twice World Open Salsa
Champion. Came to the UK to star in the West End Show Lady Salsa.
Phil is a truly multifaceted dancer, originally trained in Ballroom, Jive, Swing and Jazz. With his origins planted
deeply in Zambia and South Africa, African based Dance adds another dimension to his dancing. On the dance
floor, Phil is a charasmatic dancer, adding flavour and taking musicality to new heights, seasoned pro or beginner,
you will feel fantastic and are sure to have fun.
Nelson de Oliveira Campos from Portugal has been dancing Kizoma, Salsa & Lambada all his life. He has
taught for over 15 years throughout Europe and is well known for his energetic classes, full of fun and
patience and passion for teaching and dancing.
DJ Sam ( Chester ) is back with us once again. Sam has been dancing Cuban Salsa for 5 years and has a clear
passion for the music. An exciting addition to the Salsa scene in Chester and North Wales, Sam has visited Cuba
for the past two years keeping her upto date with the latest sounds.
