| Profiles Sue ( Salsa...feel the heat ) Sue first got into the Salsa groove about 18 years ago and went on to teach with Andre & Chariffi at Manchester's Copacabana Nightclub. Sue is a qualified UKA Salsa Dance Instructor who runs her own classes in the Warrington and Wigan areas where she hosts regular Salsa Party Nights and delivers workshops for students, organisations and schools. DJ Hot Pepper Hot Pepper is Salsa...feel the heat's resident DJ as well as being one of the North West's best World Music / Salsa DJ's and is a regular DJ / Compere at many of Manchester's major Festivals and recently showcased his DJing skills at Pontins Salsa Max 3 event. Hot Pepper hosts regular African & Caribbean nights in Manchester and has hosted his own radio show Tropical Hits on several radio shows over the past 5 years. Rohan Brown Rohan is an established instructor based in the Midlands who places particular emphasis on ensuring that his students have a great time whilst learning to dance. His classes focus mainly on style and natural body movement, with teaching influences that include Cuban & New York Salsa. Rohan regularly hosts Salsa Nights, Weekenders and Congresses as well as finding the time to run his " One stop Salsa Shop Salsa Fever " and organising Salsa Dance holidays. A great time is guaranteed when Rohan is around. Leandro Charanga The " Reggaeton King " was born in Cuba and is one of the most charismatic performers around today. Leandro's style is unique and wldly entertaining. His fusion of raw energy from the backstreets of Havana is edgy and athletic and at the same time graceful and fun. Osbanis Tejeda Born in Havana Cuba, Osbanis graduated as a professor in Cuban percussion. Osbanis is a former UK Salsa Champion and Tropicana World Rueda Champion as well as being one of the most admired dancers in the salsa scene today. Osbanis has worked with Roll Deep, Latin Clan, Havana Club Promotion and taught all over the world. Moe Flex Moe is one of the most exciting, inspiring and entertaining characters in the Latin dance scene today. A forner UKA British Champion and British Threesome Champion, Moe divides his time between teaching, choreographing and performing throughout the UK and overseas. Moe was voted most popular Cuban Teacher in 2006. Fadi K Fadi is a man of many talents, equally at home teaching Salsa or DJ-ing. He discovered Salsa in 2002 and since then has gone on to teach and DJ throughout the UK and abroad. In a comparatively short time Fadi has Developed a proven track record in many areas and has established himself nationally and internationally. Richard Fallon Ritchie Rich, the man, the music, the myth...the cap ! A veteran of the London Salsa scene, Rich is an instinctive and experienced dancer, at ease dancing and teaching all styles through his distinctively funky take on Cuban Casino and Rueda de Casino teaching them on the 1 and contratiempo ( Son timing ) is what he is best known for. Anneta Kepka 2006 UK Salsa Champion and originally from Poland, Anneta is one of the best dancers currently on the European Salsa scene. Rafael Del Busto Born in Havana, Rafael is widely regsarded as the very best proponent of authentic Cuban Salsa, Mambo and Rumba dance styles. Winner of the best Male Cuban Salsa Performer Award and twice World Open Salsa Champion. Came to the UK to star in the West End Show Lady Salsa. Rosa Perez Classicallly trained, Cuban born Rosa danced with the Balllet Company Centro Prodanza de Cuba in Havana. Since moving to the UK, Rosa has performed many shows in Salsa & Reggaeton as well as teaching classes in both styles. Rosa has performed at Salsa Congresses and Carnavals throughout the UK and Europe. Mancuban Mancuban have been dancing and teaching Salsa in Manchester and Chester for 15 years and have made regular study trips to Cuba to develop their knowledge. Satine Di Monte Burlesque performer Satine brings her art to the dance classroom, enabling ladies to learm the art of tease. Satine has danced from an early age in various styles of dance and is a qualified UKA Salsa Teacher. Satine has also had a succesful career in modeling and still choreographs and produces fashion shows for companies. Juan Carlos Pacheco Juan Carlos is a Professional Dancer and Choreographer from Cuba who studied all forms of traditional dance for 19 years. Juan Carlos has also performed with the World Famous Buena Vista Social Club and Los Van Van and is one of the greatest masters of traditional Cuban Dance forms such as Cha Cha, Son and Mambo. |
